Experience as a Service Manager in the Railway sector
Technical knowledge in traction chain strongly desired
Valuable knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
Communication skills in written interactions, and face-to-face customer service interactions

Guarantee the quality of the service
Coordinate the activities of team members in an efficient and productive manner, based on SLAs, technician availability, and technician’s skills
Monitor time schedule and manage the calendar for holidays and emergency changes
Monitor customer problems to ensure a high level of response time and proper problem resolutions
Anticipate customer needs using proper leadership techniques and proven problem-solving methods
Have a full working knowledge of the maintenance handbooks to respond to every customer inquiry
Ensure that all assistances performed are properly documented
Report relevant information to the technical department about the operation of the equipment and proposals to improve the designs from the service point of view
Transform the strategic guidelines, transmitted by the Management, into concrete initiatives
Periodically report the most relevant incidents to After-sales Director and Project Management
Managing external service providers
Prepare technical reports on the most severe incidents and participate in working groups for root cause analysis and resolution of the incident
Propose changes in the processes involved to optimize their performance.
Maintain close contact with customers to identify their needs and help them to define strategies at service level
Set reportable metrics (KPI chart with the most relevant indicators: operational, financial, reliability,…) to measure and maintain performance. Define and implement an action plan based on it.
Manage and control the consignment stock. Size and optimize the stock in collaboration with technical department.
